What if products could heal the ocean?

11 million tons of plastic end up in the ocean every year. 🌊

It can take a century to break down and even then, it’s still there in tiny, invisible forms.

Fish get entangled. Others eat it. Ecosystems are disrupted.

And humans? We’re now ingesting ~5g of plastic per week.

There are great initiatives. Like “Take 3 For the Sea.”

But the more I learn, the more I think we need to add a zero to that number. At least.

We’re seeing progress: Products made from recycled fishing nets, bioplastics, and plant-based alternatives. But what if we could go one step further and create products that help the ocean?

I’m working on something close to my heart.

Let’s just say it involves: đŸ„đŸŒâ€â™‚ïžđŸ‘±đŸŒâ€â™€ïžđŸą

Got leads, ideas, or contacts related to elastic, rapidly degradable, ocean-friendly materials? Send them my way!

Help me create something better — for us and the sea. 💙

For context: 11 million tons per year = 2000 garbage trucks of plastic dumped into the oceans every day. 5 g of plastic = roughly the same as eating a credit card.
